I am the legacy of a Yemeni painter who has struggled and continues to struggle against the hardships caused by war in my country, Yemen.
I have loved painting since childhood, and I grew up dreaming of standing among the great artists of the world. I got married and became pregnant with my first child while I was a freshman in university. My professors admired my work and my ability to quickly master different painting techniques. They saw me as a great artistic discovery.
Despite the challenges of pregnancy and study, I graduated with honors. Then the war began, and all paths were closed. But I refused to give up. Deep down, I rose from the rubble, determined to change my fate.
God blessed me with four children who are the light of my life. My passion for painting remains a burning flame within me that will never be extinguished.
I hold on to the hope that one day my paintings and my name will be known around the world. Given the situation in our country, I turn to competitions to support my dream and the dreams of my children for a better and happier life. I hope for your support.
