Paths of Life

I am a remnant of a Yemeni artist who struggled and continues to struggle against the miserable life caused by the war in my country, Yemen. I loved drawing since I was young, and I grew up hoping to be among the giants of art and painting in the world. I decided to enroll in the Faculty of Fine Arts to learn the fundamentals of drawing and gain more knowledge about its various fields, specializations, and other materials used in painting. However, fate forced me to marry during my first year of university. I saw admiring glances from the university professors at my drawing and my quick grasp of different drawing techniques; they considered me a huge artistic discovery. At the same time, I told them that I had missed an opportunity to showcase my talent by getting married. I became pregnant with my first child in my second year, enduring the hardships and fatigue of pregnancy while striving to complete my studies. I lived through life's ups and downs, but with the same determination to reach the end and graduate with honors. I graduated from university hoping to participate in art exhibitions and competitions with a collection of my paintings.
